Week 7 Buy Low Sell High Trade Advice

Week 7 Buy Low Sell High Trade Advice

I'm sorry I'm late this week. I had a little something come up but it's not too late to get you a good deal! As the season progresses, finding steals becomes harder and harder. At this point in the year, most people know who is set up for sustained success and who isn't. With that said, this is still my job and I'm still going to try to find you some good buys. Let's get started!

Players I'm Buying

Baker Mayfield, Jared Goff

After Bakers initial Thursday night action, he has really cooled off. In the next 4 weeks, he plays Pit, TB, KC, and ATL. Four of the worst pass defenses in the NFL currently. The guy that picked him up is probably pretty down on him. If you need a cheap QB, you can't do better right now. Goff has 1 touchdown pass in the last 2 weeks and hasn't looked too hot. Just a couple weeks removed from a monster 465 yard, 5 touchdown game. Grab him while he's been down.

AJ Green, Jarvis Landry

AJ Green has been good and you'll pay a pretty penny for him. With that said, you can buy him today as a low-end WR1 instead of the Elite receiver that he is. His next 3 games come against KC, TB and NO. His breakout back into the elite tier is coming. Buy him first. Copy everything I said on Baker here on Landry.  The Targets have been there, the production is coming.

Jack Doyle

In the midst of the Ebron breakout year, many players have forgotten about Doyle. On his way back from injury, I expect him to go back to being Lucks safety blanket. Ebron plays more slot WR than tight end so there is no reason why they can't both produce.

Players I'm Selling

Kenyan Drake, Chris Carson

The time is now! You may finally be able to get something for Kenyan Drake. I don't think this one needs much explaining if you've held on to him all year. Frank Gore is not going away and he looks to be better than Drake so far. Trade him now while there are good games in remembrance. Carson seems to be a part of a full-on time-share. He, Mike Davis and now Rashaad Penny are all getting carries. Dump him for something more stable before it becomes a committee for good.

Marquise Goodwin

On the surface, Goodwin has returned to his 2017 form. Look a little closer and you'd see he has only 4 receptions. That production isn't sustainable. Also, Pettis started practicing this week adding another mouth to feed. If you can turn his big game into a more consistent receiver, don't hesitate.

Players I'm Picking Up

Dak Prescott, Jalen Richard, Dante Pettis, Rickey Seals-Jones

Dak finally looked like the player he was billed to be after his rookie season. I don't expect him to have a good game in Washington but after that, he could be a solid QB1. Lynch is nursing a hamstring injury and could miss a few weeks. That would put Richard in a featured role. Pick him up while he's on bye and no one is paying attention. Pettis returned to practice this week. The dropoff to Beatherd hasn't been as bad as some analysts thought and Pettis is a size/speed freak. Niles Paul didn't last long as a viable option. Seals-Jones has seen consistent targets since Rosen took over and has posted decent games in 3 of the last 4.
